D-Day minus three

Today I came to Viseu, my home town, where I'm planning to stay for the next 2 days before going back to Lisbon to catch my plane to Stockholm.
My mother came to pick me up at Aveiro's train station in the morning and I went shopping for a suit, shirts and pants, since all I use here in Portugal are my t-shirts and shorts (I ALWAYS wear shorts, even in Winter time).

The rest of the day was as monotonous as the morning: I just got an injection for tetanus (which I had to take in January) and reserved my hostel for the first 3 days in Stockholm, while I don't get my dormitory room. The hostel I booked in is City Backpackers Stockholm, which has received a HostelWorld award.

Hello /*New*/ World

My name is Nuno and I am a Portuguese student who is going on Erasmus to Stockholm during the next semester. I just passed to my 5th and final year of the Physics Engineering Masters Degree at Instituto Superior Técnico at Lisbon.

This blog is meant to be the way to tell/show my experience to the world in general and my friends and family in a particular way. These are some of the objectives that I’ll try to keep in mind while writing it:
  • Hope you enjoy reading it;
  • Hope I don’t get bored and stop writing it;
  • Hope to post short posts but with all the information I think it’s important;
  • Other stuff that I remember…
Today is the 27th of July and I have 3 days left in Portugal before leaving to the adventure. I’ll write down the preparations for the trip during the next days, including the items I’ll pack.
